1. Overview of Deletion Policy

At Namma Bill (developed by CoderStudio), we respect your ownership of your data. In full compliance with Google Play's User Data - Account Deletion Requirement, we provide simple, straightforward ways for you to delete your user account and all associated records at any time.

You can request account deletion either directly from inside the Namma Bill mobile app or online using the request form below without having to reinstall the app.

2. What Data Is Deleted vs. Retained

  • User Account Profile: Name, phone number, email address, password hashes, and profile photos.
  • Business & Shop Details: Business name, address, GSTIN, business logo, and settings.
  • Catalog & Inventory: All products, categories, stock levels, barcodes, and pricing.
  • Customer & Vendor Records: Customer directory, contact numbers, and addresses.
  • Invoicing Data: Bills, estimates, receipts, tax calculations, and expense records.
  • Device Tokens & Logs: Firebase push notification tokens (FCM) and active session tokens.

ℹ Retention Exceptions & Period

  • Legal & Tax Compliance: In accordance with statutory Indian taxation (GST) accounting rules, merchants are legally required to maintain financial accounts for their statutory period. We advise exporting your PDF reports before submitting deletion.
  • Backup Purge Window: Encrypted server snapshots and database backups are automatically overwritten and permanently purged within 30 days of deletion.
  • Processing Timeline: Direct account deletion requests submitted via the form or email are processed within 7 business days.

3. Methods to Delete Your Account

📱 Option A: Inside the App

If you have the Namma Bill app installed on your phone:

  1. Open the Namma Bill app.
  2. Tap the Sidebar Menu (☰) or your Profile avatar.
  3. Select User Profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the prompt. Your account and records are scheduled for immediate deletion.

🌐 Option B: Online Request Form

If you uninstalled the app or cannot log in, use the form below to submit a deletion request. Our team will verify and execute the permanent purge.

  1. Fill in your registered phone number or email.
  2. Click Submit Deletion Request.
  3. We verify ownership and delete all associated records within 7 business days.
